Welcome to Sanad Academy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website sanad.academy and our online Quran and Arabic tutoring services.
By booking a free assessment, purchasing a subscription, or attending our classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
- Description of Service
Sanad Academy provides 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions via third-party video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom). Our curriculum, including the Sanad Method™, is designed to teach Arabic reading, Quranic recitation, and Islamic basics to non-native speakers. - Accounts and Registration
Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or booking a session.
Minors: If the student is under the age of 18 (e.g., enrolled in our Kids & Youth Academy), a parent or legal guardian must create the account, manage bookings, and handle all payments.
- Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Recurring Billing: Our monthly plans (e.g., The Seeker, The Sanad Plan, The Dedicated Plan) are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method (via Stripe or PayPal) automatically each month.
Rollover Hours: Unused hours at the end of a billing cycle will roll over to the next month, provided that your subscription remains active. If you cancel your subscription, any unused rollover hours will be forfeited at the end of your current billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.
- Class Scheduling, Cancellation, and “No-Show” Policy
To respect the time of our certified Azhari mentors, the following rules apply:
Rescheduling & Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule a session through your student dashboard. We require a minimum of 12 to 24 hours’ notice (depending on your specific plan tier) prior to the class start time.
Late Cancellations: Classes canceled with less than the required notice period will be deducted from your monthly hours.
No-Shows: If a student does not join the Zoom classroom within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the class will be marked as a “No-Show” and the hour will be fully deducted from your balance.
Tutor Absence: In the rare event of a technical issue or emergency on the tutor’s end, the class will be fully credited back to your account and rescheduled at your earliest convenience.
- Refund Policy & 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our mentors and our methodology.
First Month Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied during your first paid month of subscription, contact us. We will issue a full refund for any unused sessions remaining in that month—no questions asked.
General Refunds: After the first month, subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you may cancel your recurring subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
- Code of Conduct and Environment
Sanad Academy is a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space.
Respect: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior toward our tutors or staff.
Dress Code: While female students are matched with female mentors for privacy, we kindly request that all students wear modest, appropriate clothing during video sessions. A Hijab is only required when actively practicing the physical movements of Salah (Prayer).
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account of any user who violates this Code of Conduct, without a refund.
- Intellectual Property
All materials provided during the sessions, including but not limited to the Sanad Method™ eBook, PDFs, slides, and website content, are the exclusive property of Sanad Academy. You may use these materials for personal learning purposes only. You may not distribute, sell, or publicly share our materials without explicit written permission. - Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated Terms. - Contact Us
